  We purchased food and were attempting leave, but there was a terrible wreck at the entrance so we were essentially trapped at Sonic while the area was cleared. My Austic nephew got hot in the car- so he went to sit at one of the picnic tables in the shade to wait. He had his drink we had just purchased from Sonic with him... within 3 minutes of him sitting down, someone claiming to be "the manager" told him to leave immediately or the police would be called due to there being a NO LOITERING rule. Needless to say- my nephew was intimidated and scared. When my nephew attempted to explain that we WERE customers and show the manager his cup of drink, the manager was not having ANY OF IT. He (the manager) wouldn't listen to reason at all and insisted again that my nephew leave immediately. My nephew left in tears and returned to the car crying (He is thirty- something with the thought processing abilities of a 12 year old.) As far as I'm concerned the manager of this Sonic can get bent. They have lost a customer for good and we are telling EVERYONE about our experience... which is sad bc we bought food and/ or drinks there multiple times a day for years. Not any more though. So done.

  Chili cheese tots were amazing - someone made them like they were going to eat them. Strawberry shake was good, but no spoon was given. Some of us weirdos eat ice cream (even shakes) with a spoon. The chicken strips were a sad disappointment. They were tiny and dry. The sauces didn't help.

  I Love Sonics pretzel twists! I'm always cheating and sneaking to Sonic and getting a pretzel twists and a water with raspberry flavor. 😋 I swear the drink is zero calories, and if its not don't tell me. 😂

  Well, it's nice to get something different once in a while, but regular drinks with no refills is not a bargain. Expensive fruity drinks can be fun, but be honest with yourself, they're mostly crushed ice and you know it. I'm glad they keep younger people working, but there is something different about tipping wait staff at a restaurant, vs. someone carrying the bag or bags out to my pickup. You're not supposed to drive and eat, so you sit there with your engine running...I would rather be in a restaurant sitting. And I'm not that crazy about people munching in my vehicle 'cause the trash ends up at my place and I have to clean it... ( sigh ) I just don't think drive-ins are fun like they used to be, and the prices should be more competitive...
