  After living in Japan for a few years, we've been looking for a place in town that satisfies the inch for more authentic Japanese food. This has come the closest by far! We absolutely loved the yakatori (which we loved to get at Festivals in Japan), and is hard to find around here. It almost tastes the same, just missing a little of that charcoal grill flavor. The Fried Gyoza was also very good and the Japanese fried rice was on point. We look forward to going back and trying more of the menu soon!

  - Amazing food, everything made to order so very fresh and hot. - Our server, Tracey, was attentive and helpful, explaining everything, answering questions, and offering menu suggestions. She was also very nice and entertaining, a real treat. - A little pricey, but well worth it for the variety, quality, and ayce, if you leave hungry then it's your own fault. - Japanese beer on tap, uncommon to find in this area. - Very clean, well put together decor, music wasn't to loud, and the booths give you just enough privacy.

  As far as I know this is a newer spot in town taking over an old grill that I used to frequent off and on, but I think I fancy this place more. They have a well-made menu of sushi, hibachi, noodles, a lotta your usual Japanese steakhouse cuisine, but the real novelty is their all-you-can-eat options. During lunch and evening hours (lunch cheaper) you can order by the plate as much as you want from a particular buffet menu, and the food is the exact same as it'd be if you ordered from the regular, albeit I assume portion sizes are tampered down for the buffet. Try a little bit of everything, it's great, and try the tempura oreo at some point too while you're there, very nice. Service is good, the place is clean and the decor is very nice, good for atmosphere. They do serve alcohol, a lot of it, I didn't try it but it looked solid though a little pricy.

  Went there for the first time today with my husband as an early Mother's Day treat! It was PHENOMENAL!! Our server Tracey was definitely a highlight of the meal, she even provided me with chopstick trainers when it was obvious I was struggling and she was instantly my hero lol! Definitely the best dragon roll and takoyaki we've had! Their eel is officially my favorite from anywhere I've had!! That includes the sushi I've had on the west and east coast. Tempura oreo and cheesecake were also lovely! My husband even got to enjoy a Japanese beer on draft, which is a rare find around here! 10/10 will be going back as soon as we can!!

  Our waitress was AMAZING. Unfortunately the management IS NOT. When we arrived we had 10 people total in our party. Two out of the three children were 10 and under. We were seated and our waitress asked the age of the kids and took our drinks and put everything in. When we got the check we went and paid the ticket and only noticed AFTER we paid that they counted 10 adults on our ticket. We should have checked prior to payment but we were celebrating a birthday and we just wanted to cover the bill for everyone. Management went behind our waitress’ back and took the kids off and added two adult prices. You could tell that it was added by after the initial entry because on the receipt there was two added adults at the top, while the other 8 people were at the bottom. When we asked about it we got the run around and management said the kids don’t look 10 and under and they took it upon themselves to change the ticket without anyone’s knowledge. It was a whole ordeal, but they ended up redoing our ticket to reflect the appropriate prices. We were not the only people there at the time whose kids also got rung up as an adult as there was another family questioning the same charges. Since we weren’t the only ones It does seem like some sort of scam. I do want to emphasize that this was not at the fault of the waitress. She was understanding and got it handled and was just as surprised as we were. Food comes out sporadically which is understandable with an AYCE place with both kitchen and sushi items. Our very first order included the House Specialty Fried Rice we waited our whole dinner for that rice. We followed up with our waitress and even ordered it a second time incase it was missed or it was brought to a different table on accident. We did not receive the rice until all of our plates, silverware, and menus were taken up and the kids were eating their ice cream and we were preparing to leave. While dining one of the managers yelled across the restaurant at an employee named Cassie to answer the phone and it had only rang twice. I didn’t realize all of the bad management reviews until I came here to write my own. Go here at your own risk! Be kind to your servers! They’re clearly under horrible management and some of them it’s their 3rd day. They can’t control the kitchen either so just keep an open mind. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!!!!!
