- MAMilo AustinJun 19, 20261.0A couple of weeks ago, I got an ad in the mail for Pizza specials. I hadn't had pizza in a while so I decided to order the Large 3-topping pizza for $9.99. I think regular was something like $17.99. I ordered thin crust, pepperoni and sausage with extra pepperoni for my 3rd topping. When I got home, I was utterly disappointed. IT WAS HORRIBLE. It wasn't Pizza on Special; it was MADE as a $9 pizza. Hardly any meat; hardly any sauce. For a pizza that should have been nearly covered in double pepperoni, it didn't even have the NORMAL amount of pepperoni OR sausage. And it was so over-cooked, it was like chewing shoe leather. I could barely choke it down. I was hungry, so I had little choice. Maybe if I had not given them the coupon when I ordered, they would have made a normal pizza. DON'T EVER ORDER A PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA WITH A COUPON. Needless to say, I will never be going back THERE again. By the way, it was the one on Farris Road, Conway, AR. Seems like I have gotten a decent pizza there a long time ago. So I don't know what happened, but they sure burned me of ever going back. MANAGER: All it takes is ONE bad experience to sour a customer from ever going back, or from giving good recommendations. You know how word spreads; like wildfire.
