Went through the drive thru and ordered 2 chicken strip meals. The person taking our order had a very heavy foreign accent and was very hard to understand over the intercom. They asked if we wanted dipping sauce and my husband asked for gravy while I ordered honey mustard. What we got was bbq and ranch, the Texas toast wasn't even toasted and the fries were cold and soggy. This wasn't very cheap and they weren't busy at all. Why is it so hard to do your job and get an order right?

My husband and I stopped by for Blizzards on what seemed like one of their first busy evenings since the weather started warming up. We didn’t mind the wait at all, it actually gave us a nice chance to sit and talk but unfortunately the experience went downhill when we received our order. Both Blizzards were already melted by the time they were handed to us at the window. They were far from the quality we’ve come to expect. It felt like the staff may have prepared them in advance and let them sit rather than making them fresh to order. Overall, it was really disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to a treat. We ended up throwing them away. Hoping this was just an off night, but definitely not the standard we’re used to.

Walking in to grab a quick breakfast with my wife at an old classic Dairy Queen, we were greeted by a lovely woman behind the counter who welcomed us with a big smile and asked how she could help. She seemed genuinely happy to be there, which honestly caught me off guard in the best way. It immediately lifted the mood. We ordered with a grin, and she even gave us a couple suggestions that ended up saving us both time and a few bucks. That kind of honesty is rare these days and definitely appreciated. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. Not long after we sat down, the same woman who took our order brought the food out to us. The service was easily some of the kindest I’ve had in a long time. You could tell she actually cared about the customers and wasn’t just going through the motions. The food was good, but honestly her attitude made it even better. Even as we were leaving she made sure to wish us a good day. Seriously… keep this woman at all costs. Give her a raise. Protect her like a national treasure. The only downside came later that week when we stopped by again for lunch. A younger employee was working the counter, and the experience was… let’s just say the complete opposite. Not very friendly and somehow managed to make ordering food feel like we were inconveniencing her by existing. Still, that breakfast visit was great, and the woman who helped us that morning is exactly the kind of person every restaurant should hope to have working for them.
