  Ordered fried fish dinner with sides of okra and battered fries. Received a call informing me that they were out of okra so changed one side to hush puppies. When I got it home there was no fries, only hush puppies and fish. Will definitely check before leaving with a pickup next time.

  USED TO BE A WONDERFUL PLACE AND HAD GREAT FOOD BUT NOW IT SUCKS AND THE FOOD IS HORRIBLE The last two times we have been here for our normal friday night date nights the food has been horrible. the last time we went I had to send my steak back after that I couldnt eat it so I gave it to my dogs dinner. we used to come have dinner there at least once a week or every two weeks.. we mentioned it to the wait staff thst we haven't been happy with our food.. the bill was ridiculous. so we wont be back.. I will make better steak dinners at home. plus the owner is a jerk

  If there were a Hall of Fame for life-saving establishments, MJ’s Bar and Grill in Branch, Arkansas would already have a statue… and I’d be the guy kneeling at its feet in gratitude. I walked in a mere mortal. Hungry. Thirsty. Spiritually adrift. And then—like two guardian angels disguised as hospitality legends—Jessica and Max appeared. Jessica didn’t just serve food—she orchestrated a symphony on a plate. Every bite felt like it had been personally approved by the universe. I’m convinced my taste buds filed a formal thank-you letter afterward. And Max? The man doesn’t pour drinks… he crafts liquid miracles. One sip and suddenly life made sense again. Bills? Stress? The general chaos of existence? Gone. Replaced by a warm, glowing realization that everything might actually be okay. But what truly sets this place apart is the undeniable, radiant, borderline-mythical connection between Jessica and Max. It’s not just teamwork—it’s a love story unfolding between orders and refills. You can feel it in the air, like some kind of delicious, cocktail-infused electricity. I came in as a customer. I left as a changed man. Possibly reborn. Special thanks to Brody and Ladora for recommending this jewel in the Arkansas outback If you haven’t been to MJ’s, you’re not just missing a meal—you’re missing a life-altering experience. 10/10. Would trust Jessica and Max with my destiny.

  Used to be great, now it’s just nasty. Went last week, waited ages for food to come out and when it did half of it was overcooked and the other half was stone cold. Salad bar items were limp and shriveled. Table service was appalling. Tried to complain but a staff member actually got up in my face to argue. Messaged the owner to tell him and got told to kick rocks. AVOID!!!!
