Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CRCayson RansomSep 30, 20261.0Just a brutal experience for me. Ordered off app for pickup. Arrive 8 mins past expected time to be ready. Hadn’t even started on it. Waited 20 mins. Ordered a double meat Jr add a patty. Got home and they gave me a single meat regular with all the toppings. I drove back, looked manager in eye and said this isn’t correct please make the order right. She took the receipt and made the burger. It was still wrong when I got home, missed the extra patty. I mean I can’t imagine having to remake an order cause it’s wrong and still getting it wrong.

If I hadn't already paid for the food, we would've just left like the 3 cars behind us did. The app said the food would be ready between 11:35-11:38pm but we didn't make it to the window until 12:25am. Pathetic!! I've never had a good experience at ANY Whataburger but this was, by far, the worst. We need more late night food options.
