Housed within a beautifully restored 1898 church in downtown Bentonville, The Preacher's Son offers Northwest Arkansas's most distinctive fine dining experience. Executive Chef Neal Gray brings his Michelin-star training from acclaimed kitchens including The French Laundry and Blue Hill at Stone Barns to create seasonal menus that celebrate local ingredients with refined technique.
The historic sanctuary features soaring ceilings, George Dombek's magnificent stained glass windows, and 288 individually hung gold bells, creating an atmosphere that feels both reverent and celebratory. As the anchor of a three-level hospitality experience that includes speakeasy Undercroft and seasonal rooftop bar Celeste, The Preacher's Son represents the heart of Bentonville's culinary scene, where history and hospitality converge.
Always an incredible experience, but this time was especially special on my birthday. Signed card from the restaurant and our server gave all of the most perfect recommendations. This is that kind of meal that is so good, you’re almost just mad because you can’t be this happy all the time!

Ordered the steak and fish, steak was room temperature and tough. The fish was lackluster. Atmosphere was really cool though. Went in with high expectations and unfortunately they weren’t met. Was really disappointed. Not worth the price tag for me.

From start to finish The Preacher's Son was amazing! Our table was ready at exactly the time of our reservation. The staff was fantastic and had spot on recommendations for dishes. The food was delicious!! The Preacher's Son should be on Michelin's radar!

The staff is amazing, friendly, and the water glasses never got empty.
The food is phenomenal and we intend to go back to try more of the menu for future special occasions- Served hot, just as we finished the appetizer.
We took pictures of the painted windows
and the high ceiling gave a tremendous sense of openess.
We'll certainly return.
(Menu choices: Blackened salmon and bologenase for our first time)
Enjoy!
