  Field Notes is one of those places that gets everything right - coffee, pastries, ambience and service! The coffee is smooth and flavorful, the pastries are excellent, and the atmosphere inside The Compton is beautiful without feeling pretentious. The staff is warm and welcoming, and there’s plenty of space to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. A fantastic addition to downtown Bentonville and definitely worth stopping by!

  Came in early on a Saturday morning. No line, no wait. Quick service. Staff was very fun and helpful. Coffee is delicious and the pastry / breakfast selection is top notch. Beautiful interior and decor. Very clean minimalist but colorful.

  This place is BEAUTIFUL! The only reason I knocked a star is i didnt realise when i placed my order adding chicken to my grilled cheese would add $11... $11 for some chicken is kinda insane.... other than that though it was hard to be super super mad cause it was delicious along with their homeade chips which were the best ive ever had 🤣 my vanilla matcha with oat milk was good too, Just make sure you ask for extra vanilla if u like it sweet. Overall I would still highly recommend!

  I have been coming here since it opened and came to visit one last time before moving states. This sweet man, Alex asked about my busy day ahead and ended up packing me a whole box of treats to help get my moving day started. He was so kind and generous. I sure will miss this place.

  Great place to get coffee, hot chocolate, and bakery items while at the downtown Bentonville Square. I had an extremely satisfying double-shot Expresso that had a rich aroma of floral or roasted notes, a complex flavor profile hitting both sweet and bright acidity, and each mouthfeel lingered pleasantly.
