Extremely overpriced for less than mediocre food and coffee. Beautifully decorated inside and lovely landscaping.

This place was overall pretty disappointing. The atmosphere is fantastic and a great place to hang out. Just don’t get food or coffee. The coffee was below average and the food we received was cold and had to take it back to them to heat it up. It was still cold when we got it back.

I came into town from Spartanburg, South Carolina to do some work with the staff and they were absolutely amazing. Everybody was extremely friendly and welcoming and they did an excellent job pulling shots and steaming milk. I’m looking forward to coming back and visiting again.

Lots of seating not great conversations food service took a while. I believe we waited about 30 to 40 minutes to get our food. Overall, I might go again, but I might try and target an off time that is not like typical lunch hours.

Field Notes is one of those places that gets everything right - coffee, pastries, ambience and service! The coffee is smooth and flavorful, the pastries are excellent, and the atmosphere inside The Compton is beautiful without feeling pretentious. The staff is warm and welcoming, and there’s plenty of space to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. A fantastic addition to downtown Bentonville and definitely worth stopping by!
