CO-OP Ramen is Bentonville's home for authentic Japanese ramen with an Ozark twist. Located in 8th Street Market, Chef Michael Moore combines traditional ramen techniques with locally-sourced ingredients to create bowls that honor both Japanese tradition and Arkansas flavor. From our rotating seasonal "Bowl of the Moment" to classic favorites, we're bringing something deliciously different to the Bentonville food scene. All are welcome to the Coop!
Ramen Co-op has been hit or miss lately. You may get the best bowl you ever had one order, to one that is barely edible the next. You can tell when things are fresh, and when they are not... especially with a dish like Ramen.

Ramen was terrible. Broth lacked flavor, ramen was sticking together and chicken was over seasoned. The only good thing was the interior.

Our food took quite a long time to arrive, which already set the tone for the visit. The tonkatsu ramen broth tasted very blunt and lacked depth, and the meat was noticeably too salty. For a bowl that’s priced higher than most ramen spots in Bentonville and Rogers, the experience didn’t feel worth it. I hope they can refine the seasoning and overall balance.

I had reallyyy high hopes for this business. I have seen it so many times on tik tok and being local was very excited to give it a try. With the pictures I’ve seen it looked like a higher end ramen place..however I was not met with that. As soon as we walked in the business was congested in the awkward area when you first arrive of people trying to figure out what they want and also having to order on kiosk. There also was NO greeting whatsoever and no instructions on how the process went. Anywho.. we order and then go to sit down in one of the booths however those were not available. Understandable but without the booths being available you then are left with three awkward seating arrangements. 1) next to the booth area is a bar that was then congested with boxes and employees personal items 2) a very long table where anyone can sit so if you are looking for a private dinner that does not allow in that space 3) next to the window there is a bar area still a long table but more private than the other areas.
We ended up finally sitting in the 3rd option but the table was both sticky and dirty (the floors were also sticky.) The person who brought our food was friendly but we only had one interaction the entire time we were there. At the end my husband and I also did not enjoy the dishes that we received and ended up leaving. We might give it a try on another day but it is highly doubtful with the experience we had. The looks of the place are great but that’s about it.
