Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- FPFrida PeeplesMay 7, 20261.0$4 water. I used to stop by here for a large cup of water frequently. The employees were usually insistent that I not pay for my water, even when I offered them money in hand. I was told this benefited the employees because it slowed their drive-thru system too much to make a transaction for a single large water. Clearly they should have just let me pay, as they’ve had to change their policy. They will now charge you the full price of a large soda for a large water. That’s almost $4 for some water and a few pieces of frozen water floating in it. That’s just outrageously greedy. The employees themselves are nice, and clearly not responsible for the prices.
- JCJE CEApr 18, 20265.0WOW!!! We used the drive-thru service and very friendly and patient. The only problem we keep running into is the large order of fries 🤨 isn't large. The container it's in is the large but the amount of fries is between small and medium 😤. We've tried Whataburger for our first time ever was in Tyler, TX this year in March 1st and 🤯 (Great!) We tried it again in Texarkana, AR April 7th 😋 (Great!) but the fries didn't hit the target 😤. Last night for our 3rd time ever we tried again in Benton, AR. The burgers were amazing at all 3!!! We will continue our Whataburger journey in hope that the burgers continue being amazing and the fries step up and service continues to be AMAZING!!!! 😎🤗 P.S don't forget your apple pie 🤤😋 they're grrrrreat!!!
