- VSvalerie sanders4 days ago1.0After driving for 5 hours, was so hungry and had been wanting to try the new Big Arch for a while, so we stopped here. The lady who took my order was very friendly. Ordered Big Arch meal to go and went to the restroom. It wasn’t filthy, but it wasn’t very clean, either. Certainly not what you expect at McDonald’s. Came out of restroom and my order was already done! How did they do that so quickly? We’re about to find out! Soda fountain area was really dirty. French fries were barely warm at all, and indeed, barely cooked at all! Limp, nasty, half cooked potatoes Big Arch had potential, but it wasn’t done either. Lots of pink, flavorless, and barely warm. Coke was the only thing that didn’t go in the garbage. I was so hungry that I had a headache, paid about $15 for this, and still threw it away. It really sucks to throw money away and keep your hungry headache. No excuses for undercooked food on a Monday night at 6pm.

Simple enough to fix — but it took nearly an hour and a manager’s intervention to resolve. Staff (Antony) was dismissive when I tried to clarify my order and blocked further conversation when I raised the issue. Manager Kris eventually helped, but I should not have needed to escalate that far. Very frustrating experience, especially as a traveler passing through. I’ve had far better service at other McDonald’s locations. This store needs serious work on customer service basics.
