    Took my boys in for smoothies and had excellent customer service. If you think they are taking a long time, go into the lobby and you will see they are hustling like crazy, just busy. Very courteous and kind.

    I usually don’t leave reviews, but this experience at Tropical Smoothie was frustrating enough that I feel like people should know what to expect. What should have been a quick stop turned into an unnecessarily long, confusing, and irritating experience from start to finish. First off, the wait time was ridiculous. There were only a few people ahead of me, so I figured I’d be in and out in maybe 10–15 minutes max. Instead, I ended up standing there for what felt like forever while employees moved around looking completely unorganized. People who ordered after me were somehow getting their food and smoothies before I did, and nobody seemed to notice or care that several customers were just standing there waiting with no updates. Then came the order confusion. I gave my order clearly, repeated part of it when asked, and still somehow the wrong items ended up being made. When I tried to politely explain that it wasn’t my order, it felt like I was inconveniencing the staff just by bringing it up. One employee told me they were “working on it,” another acted like the order had already been handed out, and nobody could seem to figure out what was actually going on. The most frustrating part was realizing they apparently forgot my order entirely. After waiting all that time, I finally asked for an update only to have someone look around confused and then admit they didn’t see it anywhere. So basically I had been standing there waiting for an order that was never even being made. No communication, no apology at first, just confusion and more waiting while they tried to remake everything. By the time I finally got my food and smoothie, the experience had already ruined the visit. The smoothie wasn’t even blended properly, and the food was lukewarm like it had been rushed out just to get me out the door. The whole place felt chaotic and poorly managed. I understand restaurants get busy, and mistakes happen, but this was beyond a simple mistake. It was a combination of long waits, disorganization, forgotten orders, poor communication, and staff acting annoyed instead of helpful. Definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a smoothie place, and I honestly don’t see myself coming back after this.

    Me and my husband came through Monday night and I will say, the quality and customer service has gotten much better!! Food was hot and our smoothies were absolutely delicious— not watered down at all! There only seemed to be two girls working but both were quick and so sweet! I wish I got their names but regardless both of them are rocking it!

    This place wasn't busy at all and had 5 employees but only one girl working. The rest were sitting down talking while the drive through started to fill up. Then the smoothies taste like ice water. I do not recommend this place. Just go to Montgomery for better service.
