Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Best whataburger ever been to and been in many. My burger was wonderful, the toasted bun I believe is what did it. My wife loves them so I go for her normally and they are generally a good burger stand but this one is better.

Had another great experience at Whataburger! My meal was hot, fresh, and delicious, with a perfectly cooked burger and crispy fries. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and my order was accurate. It’s always a reliable choice when I’m craving a satisfying meal.I’ll definitely be back

I have never had problems with y'all until last night August 11th Around 10:00 messed up my order I ordered a patty melt light on pepper sauce and also light on onions they had that sucker smothered and on top of it I had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes to get my food through the drive-thru? And let's go on top of it I order a large sweet tea and they gave me an unsweet tea I never had issues with you all until now only reason I come is where the onion rings and the sweet tea and every now and then get a patty melt and now I'm thinking twice about it other food was perfectly fine it was just my Patty melt y'all need to fix the issue

No one answered at the drive thru, so I didn't get to order. This was just before 8p on a Friday night with other cars in the drive thru line.

When placing my order, I confirmed multiple times that I wanted to add cheese to each of the kids’ burgers. When we received our food, the cheese was missing. The cashier checked the register and acknowledged that she had not entered the request correctly.
She then informed me that I would need to return to the register to pay for the cheese slices before they could be added. While I had fully intended to pay for the cheese all along, I was disappointed by how the situation was handled.
My concern is not the $1.72 charge. I expected to pay for the added cheese. The issue is that the omission was the restaurant’s mistake, yet the responsibility for correcting it was placed on me. While I went back to the register to pay, my children’s burgers sat waiting and were cold by the time I returned. The cheese was simply placed on top rather than melted because it had been left off initially.
A business that prioritizes customer service would acknowledge the error, apologize for the inconvenience, and resolve it without requiring the customer to spend additional time fixing a mistake they did not make. Even something as simple as providing the cheese at no charge would have demonstrated accountability and goodwill.
Instead, my children’s meals were delayed, the burgers were cold, the cheese was unmelted, and I was asked to leave my table to pay $1.72 in order to correct an error that was not mine.
I hope you’ll use this feedback as an opportunity to review how similar situations are handled in the future. Small moments like this have a significant impact on the overall customer experience.
