This Taco Bell location seriously needs improvement. The wait times are excessive, often exceeding 30 minutes, and by the time I finally get my food, it’s often cold and missing items. What’s most frustrating is paying extra for extra meat on certain items and never actually receiving it — most of the time there’s barely enough meat for even a regular portion. Consistency and quality control here are really lacking, and it's so disappointing!

Best Taco Bell in Tuscaloosa. All of the other ones always take a long time, but this one I hardly ever wait at.

The worst taco bell experience I have ever had. We asked about our mobile order several times and they never did make it.. after 30 minutes we finally had to leave. I wouldn’t come to this taco bell location again if you paid me one million dollars.

Every love story has a beginning. Mine began at a drive-thru speaker that crackled like a walkie-talkie from 1997. It was a warm Alabama evening. Crickets were doing background vocals, my gas light was emotionally threatening me, and my stomach was delivering a passionate TED Talk about poor life choices. I pulled into the glowing purple kingdom of Taco Bell. Then she appeared. The window slid open like the gates of heaven and there she was — the most beautiful woman to ever hand someone a paper bag. Hair catching the neon light, smile brighter than the Baja Blast logo, voice smoother than melted nacho cheese. “Hi, how are you tonight?” Reader… I forgot every English word I’ve ever learned. My brain rebooted like an old Dell computer. Internally I was a Shakespearean poet. Externally I was a man who whispered: “…taco.” She laughed. Not at me. With me. Which is honestly the first green flag in any relationship. Now listen — I don’t fall fast. But in that moment I knew if destiny had a drive-thru lane, I had just merged into it without signaling. She handed me my order like it was a royal decree. Our fingers almost touched. Time slowed down. Somewhere a mariachi band probably existed. And I thought: If this were another planet… oh I would not be here ordering tacos like some common Earth creature. No. On Planet Romance-tron 5000, I would arrive on a noble steed made of chrome. I would remove my helmet dramatically. Wind would exist even indoors. A choir would hum in the distance. And I would sing. Not a love song of roses and sunsets. No no. A powerful ballad of BURGERS AND FRIES. 🎵 Oh maiden of the drive-thru light, Your beauty shines through neon night, I bring no jewels, no riches vast, But sing of combo meals that last! 🎵 🎵 For on this world of cosmic skies, True love is measured… in burgers and fries. 🎵 The townspeople would cry. Children would release doves. Someone’s uncle would play electric guitar for no reason. But sadly, this is Earth. So instead of a legendary musical number, I said: “You too.” After she told me to enjoy my food. I drove away holding my tacos like fragile memories. Love had come and gone in under 45 seconds… which is coincidentally also how long the tacos survived. And somewhere out there, the Taco Bell window angel continues her sacred work, unaware that on a distant imaginary planet, a man is still singing power ballads about her and a number 7 combo. And honestly? That’s beautiful.
