  This place is phenomenal on service with Gae. I noticed a discrepancy, their menu prices and Gae got right on it and alerted the manager and even offered to refund me or compensate me with additional food to make up the difference. That is straight up honest and fair and I know they will get their menu prices corrected so people are not surprised when the total they pay was not the total that is quoted on the menu.

  If you are in the area this place is a definite MUST. Everything we ate was delicious. I have an onion allergy and wanted the tomatoes and cucumber, the woman ringing us up, stepped to the back and separated some out before onions were added! We felt like a part of their family and not just some customer. This will be a staple every time we are in town!

  We had some good food. The menu on line isn't correct. The don't have country fried steak or steamed broccoli. Also the prices are different. I don't think anyone has updated it . It's still in the same place. Very nice people took good care of myself and my family. We will definitely return. Great experience.

  Driving home to Houston from a road trip to Pigeon Forge Tennessee we stopped in Tuscaloosa Alabama for fuel and lunch on a beautiful Sunday morning. Not a fan of fast food so we searched for a local spot and decided on Kings Kitchen that had 4.5⭐️. We arrived about 10min before 11am when they opened, there were a few cars waiting. Kings sits at the end of a strip center close to the road in a quait older neighborhood. As you walk in the door we were greeted by a young man taking orders. The restaurant is clean and in good order. Floors are clean, looks like it was freshly painted. The menu said it changes daily. I got the small fried catfish, with cabbage, coleslaw and cornbread. My friend got pork chops, rice and gravy, cabbage and Mac’n cheese and cornbread My catfish was great! Ate at Paula Deens last night in Pigeon Forge and Paula Deen can’t touch Kings Kitchen’s catfish. It was hot, fresh, crunchy on the outside and flakey inside. 5⭐️ Coleslaw did not appear to be homemade, but it was fine. Cooked cabbage was good, seemed fresh well seasoned and had a little spice, saw bits of red pepper flake. Corn bread was thin.. a little dry , felt like it was missing something. My friend enjoyed his pork chop said he wished it had gravy on it but it didn’t stop him from eating all of it, 4 1/2⭐️ he also stated his Mac didn’t seem like it was Cooked fresh and wasn’t overly impressed with the rice and gravy. I assume the owner is who brought us our food. She was charming, seemed greatful for our business. I felt very welcomed. Would definitely come back even though we werent impressed with the sides. Would give Kings Kitchen’s an overall 4.7⭐️ Noting the catfish and pork chops were very very good, the restaurant is clean and comfortable and the staff was charming and the portions were generous for the price.

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment—and especially Mr. King! I have visited a couple of times recently while navigating a major, emotional milestone in my life, and Mr. King has consistently gone above and beyond. He is kind, deeply considerate, professional, and treats every customer with genuine warmth. On top of the phenomenal, soul-satisfying food (the fried chicken and sides are unmatched!), the level of care and customer service provided by Mr. King and his staff is truly top-tier. Thank you for making my visits feel so special. Five stars all around ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
