  This is one of the worst whataburgers I've ever been to. They're always always so slow. I've been sitting in line for 45 minutes now. Simply waiting to get a burger and fries. There's only two cars in front of me. I've been to whataburgers in Florida in Texas and in Tennessee. This one in Alabama is by far the worst and unfortunately it's the closest one to me

  We stopped here on our way home from Florida. I’ve been so excited to try Whatabuger! The food was very good except the order was wrong and needed to be redone. We waited for over 30 minutes for 2 meals in an almost empty restaurant. My husband was very upset when we received our food and his was missing a patty. Normally, we wouldn’t complain but he specifically chose a sandwich with 2 patties, plus the terrible customer service from the moment we walked in, and the extremely long wait… he was not happy. Very disappointing.

  Dirty, self serve ordering on a difficult kiosk, slow. Outside of being whataburger it’s not good.

  If you go inside, be prepared to wait 20+ minutes for your food while the drive thru continues to get served first. Unfortunately we had a trailer and couldn't use that option. You have to use the kiosk to order inside and then nobody will make eye contact with you unless you walk up to the walkthrough area to the kitchen for any help.

  Takaya (I may have misspelled her name and I’m sorry for that) is such a nice person. Me and my family don’t go here very often but when we do, she is usually there and seems to be the only person who cares about the customers inside. For example, they were out of tea in the lobby and I was standing outside the kitchen doorway and was passed by two other employees who paid me no mind, but she was kind enough to stop and ask me what I needed. Also, she is the only one who I ever see take any orders or clean, she was actually cleaning the restrooms when a family came in to order, they were waiting by the registers (just outside and visible from the kitchen) when they asked if anyone was going to take their order. She came out of the restroom shortly after that and got yelled at by her coworkers for not being there to take the order. Not only did I get passed by other employees but another customer complained about having a 20+ minute wait time and someone else that works there (I did not get his name) got snappy with him and said that they had 30 orders on their screen and that the drive-through had to be prioritized. I completely understand that mentality but his argument was about how long the line was outside but only about 5-6 cars can fit between the pickup window and the order box, that plus the people inside and the online orders placed on the shelf while we were there makes about 15 orders that probably didn’t actually exist yet. Honestly if not for the snappy employee they would probably get 5 stars for service just because of how kind Takaya is, and if I return I hope to see more people like her there. Not 4 people standing in the food packaging area seeming to be doing nothing. And if having just one person doing all of the inside orders, cleaning, and keeping the drink area stocked is how Whataburger wants things done, then they seriously need to rethink that.
