Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Stopped here on my way headed to Florida. I’ve always been a big fan of this place since my sister moved to Texas years ago! It felt awesome to try it again because it’s been a long time. I wasn’t too hungry so I ordered their chicken bites kid’s meal with a root beer and it was pretty good!

Paid for the sauces you have to pay for then didn’t receive them in our take out bag, didn’t find out until I was already on the highway. The only good thing about the visit was the tall, food-running gentleman who was very polite and courteous to us and everyone around us while we waited so long for our food.

The wait time is always absolutely ridiculous. They need new management and new team members who actually want to be and work and know how to do their job. The place could be empty and You’re still waiting 45 minutes to get one burger made wrong.

Stopped here because whole trip down south wife couldnt wait to get Whataburger on way home. Took 20 min and when asked where is food manager told her they were waiting on fries. We didnt order fries and bag had been sitting at drive thru table for 10 min. Wife spoke to manager who ordered another employee to set it there so when my wife asked, she smirked at her and said its over there. Missing 2 orders of onion rings. Another 8 min wait. No ketchup in bag after asking. Finally after everything in bags (minus condiments) and asked for just cheese lettuce mayo on her burger. Left and it had onions and tomatoes. manager said have a good day. No apology for 30 min wait, horrible attitude. Wife said we will never go back to whataburger again after this. I agree with her!!!! 12:50 pm sunday june 21st

Was the absolute worst experience ever. Entire order was wrong for 5 people. Three adult meals came without fries, two kids meals without fries. Patty melt had NO grilled onions, cheeseburger had zero cheese so I sent cheeseburger back. Got fries brought to table, they remade the cheeseburger with the receipt I provided to prove it was missing cheese, it came back to me again with NO cheese. Manager named Majjjj (sp?) came out and completely made a huge scene and called me a racist. I am far from a racist, she continued to scream at me in front of all the customers at lunch rush. She also mentioned asking us to leave if we couldn’t be nice. Nothing bad was exchanged as I repeatedly asked if I could speak and she would not allow me to say anything about the service and wrong orders we received. Clearly she is as racist as they come and I will 1000% NEVER visit that location again. This was the beginning of our family vacation and we all feel so humiliated. Someone needs to watch the surveillance in this particular store and handle the way they are treating your patrons. Never been so humiliated in my life. I will pray for her to find some peace, and I encourage anyone that reads this do so as well.
