I’m not the one to post things like this but SOMETHING needs to be done seriously, a little back story!!
We went to Buffalo Wild Wings tonight and the service was absolutely HORRIBLE as soon as we sat down and ordered a drink the waiter came back and told my husband you can pay here we literally just got there that was the first off vibe we got like I understand he was just letting us know but it’s kinda obvious so that wasn’t necessary right away.. then we could not get him to come over to wait on us hardly at all I wanted 1 more drink but I did not get that, couldn’t even get a to go box or a to go drink it was the absolute worst service we have ever had when I asked another server if she could find him he told her “I’m closing in the kitchen do they want to talk to a manager” don’t get me wrong I get people can get short staffed I completely understand that but we was one of only a few tables! I wish I knew his name but we couldn’t get him to come back to the table and no one we asked knew his name I am absolutely disgusted with our service tonight! He had long curly blonde/brown hair if anyone knows who he is because something needs to be done about this!!

Management of BDUBS you can grab an easy win here just remove the closed captions for these TV live sporting events, yes they can be turned off. There are many other bars and restaurants in the area that I frequent for the food and service but BDUBS is the only place in the area that plays certain events. I went last night the closed captions ruined the action and blocked out the screen. The staff said they couldn’t turn it off.

From start to finish, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time.
When we arrived, we politely asked to be seated in a booth. There were several open booths available, but they hadn’t been cleaned yet. Instead, we were taken to a table. When I asked if there was any way we could wait for a booth, the hostess responded with, “Do you really want a booth? Can’t you just sit at the table?” That set the tone immediately.
We completely understood that it was a busy Saturday night, so the wait for food wasn’t even the issue. The problem was the quality and condition of the food once it finally arrived.
Almost everything came out cold — not slightly warm, but genuinely cold. The sauce on the wings had dried up from sitting so long. Out of a party of four:
- Two meals came out incorrect
- My son never received his lemonade
- My daughter’s order was completely wrong
- My husband ordered the Ultimate Sampler, which includes four items:
- One item was completely wrong
- One item was missing entirely
- The remaining two items were cold and hard
- The mozzarella sticks were so cold the cheese inside wasn’t even melted
They eventually brought the missing items, but it took another 20 minutes just to receive three chicken tenders.
The waitress herself was kind, apologized multiple times, and truly seemed to be trying her best. Honestly, it felt more like she had not been properly trained or fully prepared to handle a busy Saturday night shift. She stayed polite and did what she could to fix the situation.
Unfortunately, management was the bigger disappointment. When the waitress called the manager over, he walked up, said “hi,” and then never actually addressed us. He stood there watching the waitress struggle and fluster through trying to correct everything, but never apologized or took ownership of the situation.
And if all of that wasn’t enough, we spent over 45 minutes sitting next to a filthy table covered with dirty dishes and a dirty rag the entire time. Meanwhile, there was a long wait for tables. Apparently there’s time to leave dirty tables sitting everywhere, but not enough urgency to clean them for waiting customers.
The main point is this: when someone chooses to spend their money at your establishment and dine with their family, the absolute least you can provide is a clean environment, hot food, communication when service is delayed, and accountability when mistakes happen. Kindness and communication cost nothing.
Do better, BWW Opelika, AL.

Wow, I used to love to eat at this fine establishment, but for the last year the service and food have been terrible. My chicken had feathers on it and when I asked the waiter to correct the problem he said the kitchen doesn’t pluck the feathers off of the chicken. The waiter was insanely rude and abrupt. The manger came over and told us she would take the chicken off of the ticket…well that didn’t happen. Disappointing meal.

Boy this place has really gone to shit. I keep trying to give this place a chance. Cause when they are good its really good. But the inconsistencies are killing me. Literally all of my past visits have had issues.
One time I watched the host/server drop a towel on the floor. Took about 10 minutes to finally pick it up. And when he did, he proceeded to go wipe a table down for someone to sit at.
The next time we decided to give them a chance, took about 45 minutes to an hr to bring my food. Which i do not mind waiting cause they were busy. And when they did bring it out nothing was hot.
And then tonight took about an hr to bring out my apps. We ordered cheese dip, and fried pickles. When the food hit the table the cheese dip basically looked like water. And the fried pickles basically had under cooked dough. I let the server know as she was bringing food to another table. She said she would be right back. Took her about 10 minutes to come back. Instead of taking the food back especially the under cooked pickles she left them on the table. She brings out another cheese dip that was slightly less watery than the first. Still not cheese dip. Our food was just eh. Half through eating our actual food another server brings out another batch of fried pickles. Guess what still undercooked. So I tried explaining to the server that its wild to have the same issue multiple times on pickles. And she acted like she didnt see the problem.
