  I came to Plant Bae while visiting Montgomery. I'm vegetarian, and it can be tough to find veggie friendly stuff while in the South. I was really excited to see a vegan restaurant! I actually stopped by the day before but they had to close early. The staff were friendly and asked me to come back the next day, and I am so glad I did. The restaurant itself is small and has a community focused vibe, with signs for events and people chatting over their meals. I went in the middle of the afternoon so it was not busy. I ordered a vegan Philly cheesesteak with the pickle fries. They were both AMAZING. Some of the best vegan food I've ever had, including vegan Philly cheesesteaks in Philadelphia! I ordered mine with jalapeños as I like some heat. It was so flavorful and well seasoned. The vegan cheese had a great texture too. The pickle fries were great as well. I really liked that it was mostly pickle and not just breading. If I'm back in Montgomery, I will DEFINITELY be back!!

  Instant regret. When I walked in one customer was ahead of me finishing her order. The cook came from behind the line, picked up a delivery order that was outside, and went right back to cooking. No washing his hands. Myself and the other customer complained. I asked the woman taking orders to ask the cook to wash his hands. I should have left then, but I wanted to give the the place a try. My order came quickly, and I opened my package in the car. It was the incorrect food, and the burger didn't look cooked all the way. I walked back in and the order taker immediately apologized and handed me a different bag. Although my order looked like what I was expecting it tasted horrible. I think they premake the burger patties and did a poor job reheating it. The burger was falling apart and was not warm. After the second bite I stopped, and count this experience as a waste. I hope I dont get food poisoning.

  Everytime I feel like I need REAL food from the earth, good clean food..I go to plant bae and it is always exaclty what I needed..good people and great food. DELICIOUS! And honeslty all these other resturants prices are getting higher and quality is lower...Plant bae hasnt increased there prices and the wuality is top notch. Cooked to order in 15 minutes when I got there earlier than the website said it would be ready but it was already prepared. Not like a chain resturant that lies aboutbthe pickup time to get you to complete the order then when you get there there is a wait...Plant Bae is a good resturant and they have earned my business over and over...thats my 2 cents..if you are on the fence about it just trust it is worth the experience.   After all these years of me stopping by. Still the same great service and flavorful food. Keep it up! Truckers this place is available on door dash so no excuse you can't eat healthy 💕

  I was so excited to check this place out but I didn't love it. The item I ordered ran out after I paid and had waited for a while already. I ended up with fried food that wasn’t very tasty at all. The guy in front of us didn't get his food until quite a while after we got ours. There was a lot of Styrofoam. Might have just been an off day as this was my only visit.
