  My wife and I came to this fantastic dinner for our first time. Our first impression was fantastic! The service was great and wait was very short. My wife had the sea food platter and I had the bbq sandwich. They both where very tasty. I would like to thank our waitress Emkay. She was fantastic, very kind and understanding. Thank you

  10 out of 10 — I do NOT recommend. My experience was absolutely horrible. This was my first time visiting because I have a close friend that raves about the food, so I came in genuinely excited and expecting a great experience. Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. I waited approximately 45 minutes to an hour for a very basic order—chicken tenders with okra and an à la mode brownie with ice cream. There was nothing complicated about the order that should have warranted such a long wait. When my food finally arrived, I was extremely disappointed. The okra was hard and burnt, and the chicken tenders were tough, bland, and lacked flavor. After waiting that long, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, the customer service made an already bad experience even worse. There was an issue with my bill, and instead of simply correcting the mistake, the server tried to argue with me about the charges. I was told that caramel and chocolate were not included with the food, yet I was still overcharged and charged for items that I did not even order. The server initially stated that she would correct the receipt, but the situation became unnecessarily difficult. The manager on duty was also extremely unpleasant and had a terrible attitude. Rather than taking accountability for what happened and trying to resolve the situation, she blamed her staff by saying they were teenagers. Regardless of an employee's age, management is responsible for addressing mistakes and making sure customers are treated properly. After waiting nearly an hour, receiving burnt and poorly prepared food, being overcharged, being charged for items I didn't order, and then having to deal with an argumentative attitude from both the server and manager, I left with a headache, frustration, and a very negative impression. I wasn't expecting special treatment—I simply expected good food, accurate billing, respectful customer service, and someone willing to take accountability when mistakes were made. Unfortunately, my first experience was enough to make me not want to return.

  This place is ok u can get traditional type meals like blue plate specials n good sandwiches but its not that’s good quality of food it seem cheap but the ppl are nice sometimes

  I and a friend went to visit my niece in Mobile Al. She suggested this place. Man was My friend and I glad she did. Very clean and spacious room to move around in. Wonderful waitress and I'm so upset I did not remember her name but she was so sweet and helpful. The food was delivered in a timely manner and hot. I got the chili and fried green tomatoes. One of the best I have eaten in a business. Prices was very responsible! I told the waitress to tell the owner to open one in Biloxi Ms where my friend and I are from. The place had gotten really packed by the time we had got our food and still people coming in when we had finished and was leaving. I highly recommend this place and do not believe you will be disappointed. Give it a try! Sorry I didn't not take pictures but will on my next visit and believe me there will be more visits. YUMMY 😋

  My wife and I make this our go to late lunch-early dinner place when we visit Mobile. The retro diner atmosphere makes it a little extra special for us. Their blue plate specials come with lots of food. I can promise you will not be disappointed. It’s just like getting home cooking. And with the retro setting some of you will feel like you’ve been transported back to your early days as a kid.
