  Roy was the waiter and oh my it was so good we got the porterhouse for 2 and never had an experience like this the chef/runner brought the food out for us to see then Roy served us the experience was worth it alone but the food so so good so got the bill and not that bad round 225$ for 2 but like I said it was so worth it thank you guys

  It’s been a couple of years since we last dined at Jesse’s, but we were picking up guests at the Gulfport International Airport, flying in on the new nonstop service from Huntsville and decided to drop in for dinner on 6.18.26 on the way back to Fairhope. Not having used the air service to Gulf Shores yet, we were unsure about how long it would take to deplane, secure your bags and head north, so we made our dinner reservation at 7:00 pm for a 5:30 pm arrival at GUF. Turns out that GUF is a pretty informal operation and even with a 10-minute weather delay, we were in the car by 6:00 pm. We called Jesse’s and let them know we might be a little early and they said, “come on, we will make it work.” When we arrived, they made a quick check and were able to seat us immediately. Our server, Michaela provided a very warm welcome and expedited our drink orders. The Bees Knees and Pomegranate Martini were delightful and got us off to a great start. For apps we had the Fried Green Tomato with the house bread which were both excellent. Dinner included a Redfish, Grouper and the Braised Short Rib, all were perfectly cooked and delicious. The wine list was very good with at least three choices for most every varietal. While the food was awesome and the ambiance very nice, Michaela’s attention to our dining experience pushed it over the top. She was always there right before we needed something, was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered spot on recommendations for drinks and food. We can always forgive the food for minor issues, but great service is a key factor for me. Jesse’s and Michaela provided a perfect homecoming dining experience to our guests and we were very appreciative.
