Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JBJames BellApr 28, 20262.0Been a huge whataburger fan since the 80's.This location needs work, onion rings were cold, burger was dry even with the lettuce and tomatoes, the ends of the burger were tough like heat lamp dehydrated. The cheese on the burger was melted but cold. staff was nice and quick with the order though. But they forgot the desert even after I asked if it was in the bag.

I ordered 2 sausage egg biscuits and a bacon taquito took 20 minutes to get order in hand. I really don’t feel like that’s up to fast food standards.

Today, with no one else in line, it took five minutes just to place my order and another 20 minutes to get a simple chicken sandwich and fries. I was rushing back to the office for a meeting, so I grabbed the bag and left. When I got back, they had given me a double burger with only mustard instead of what I ordered. Needless to say, I didn’t eat lunch. This was my last try, which is disappointing because the location is so convenient.
