Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- KTKD Thomas2 days ago2.0Please be sure the food matches the picture. Wilted lettuce and soggy tomatoes on the Preminum Chicken Sandwich. I've had a better outcome at Wendy's. Not to mention no mayo on the sandwich. I literally had to add it myself. I won't be returning.

The night manager Ms Jackie makes me feel welcome every single time I visit. And it must be the cleanest fast food restaurant in the area.

Been eating at these establishments my whole life and I’ve never met a group of people nicer and more dedicated to their jobs. Danica, Zina, Jackie and their whole crew are the kinds of people Whataburger should be empowering to lead them into the future. Trust is a big deal when it comes to fast food, it’s not something you find often, and they ensure that you know that you can trust them with your meal, if it’s 7pm or 7am they’re gonna treat people properly and serve them hot, freshly made food. I’ve never had a cold burger or stale fry, and I genuinely feel like they’re my friends each time I step foot in the restaurant or see them at the drive thru. This is how every store should be run. I really can’t praise them enough and I appreciate the level of dedication and care that they put into feeding the people working late. It’s rare you can get a hot meal from someone you trust that has a smile on their face at 4am, but at this Whataburger, you can…and it’s consistent.

I came once for dinner and had to pull up and wait 20 minutes for my food and when I got home the fries were missing. I went back at breakfast and waited so long I had to leave without my food.
