The food is good some of the times, but they forget a lot of things, i.e. I ordered a steak and egg biscuit from the drive-thru; I had to wait for the steak to cook, which was OK but when I got to work and opened my bag, there was no egg; they lack attention to details. And this is not the only time, I’ve asked for condiments and have opened the bag and no condiments are there, napkins, straws, etc. Why do I continue to go, because it’s the closest Bojangles ;so I have to deal with it.
Chicken was absolutely disgusting. It had been sitting under the warmers for hours and I guess we were the lucky contestants to get it delivered to us. The chicken was so dried out that it was like chicken jerky. Absolutely ridiculous that restaurants don't teach these kids about sending out quality food to customers. They just grab whatevers in their way and send it out knowing damn well they wouldn't eat it or be happy with it if they received it themselves. Then they wouldn't answer or respond back to our messages and calls

Ordered food tonight and was honestly appalled as I watch one of the employees taking fries from fry holder behind the glass at the front counter and eating them while also scooping a customers fries into a fry carton. She had a pink Hawaiian flower in her hair and a flower claw clip. Is this really how this business is run now? Disgusting.

I ended up at this Bojangles almost by accident last night around 9:30 PM.
I had originally stopped at another chicken place down the road that claimed to be open until 10 PM. Walked in, stood there, and wasn't even acknowledged. So I left and decided to give Bojangles a shot instead.
I'm not really a Bojangles regular. I've had a chicken sandwich here and there, but when it comes to fried chicken, I've always been a Popeyes person. I was honestly skeptical when people told me Bojangles was the superior friend chicken restaurant.
Turns out they were right.
The chicken was fresh as hell, perfectly seasoned, and honestly some of the best fast-food fried chicken I've had in a long time. The seasoning was fantastic, and I was genuinely shocked that everything tasted so fresh at 9:30 PM when they're only 30 minutes from closing.
What really made the experience stand out, though, was Maiya.
I had absolutely no clue what I wanted, and she was incredibly patient while I stood there trying to figure it out. She actually helped me save money by giving a a tailgate special which gave me everything I was about to order individually, plus more, for basically the same price.
Then she went above and beyond when they were short one chicken thigh that late in the evening and upgraded me to a breast instead. She never made it feel like an inconvenience, never rushed us, and never acted like we were those annoying customers showing up right before closing.
In fact, another customer came in right after us, and she gave them the exact same friendly, helpful service.
Good food gets people in the door. Great customer service gets them to come back.
Between the surprisingly incredible chicken and Maiya's outstanding customer service, this location absolutely earned a repeat customer. If you're debating where to get fried chicken, skip the places that ignore you and come here instead.
Highly recommend.
I ordered online for 8PM pickup. I arrived at 8:09. A few personnel working in back, and one that looked like he'd been up for 36 hours was hanging asleep over his phone next to the register by the drive through window. One of the people in back came to get a drink from the dispenser near the counter for drive through and said, somebody will be right with you. When he walked away he bumped the sleeping guy who got up and came to talk to me. His apron and clothes were covered in flour and other food splotches. He acted confused by the thought of an online order, checked the receipt on the front register, then told me he thought someone else had picked up my order. Then went to the manager office. A female employee came, took my phone, looked at the order and then said, "we've had problems with our printer." She verified the sides with me orally three times as she was putting the order together. I observed two other members during that time assembling drive through orders. They both appeared unclean, covered in food debris. It was unappetizing. The chicken breading was pale and soggy (verified when home). When she filled the family size container of pintos it appeared that they were trying to portion the remaining pintos for the evening. She put less than a half container of beans in then filled it with liquid. The food bar was a mess, with fries, gravy and beans scattered around the surface tops. The seasoning shaker got knocked off onto the floor and she picked it up and set it back on the food bar. As I was leaving she told the other employees, "Y'all have a mess to clean up tonight," and returned to the office.
