The lady working the counter asked if we were here to stay I said " we're just passing through seeking shelter for the time being" she said " yeah, it was getting rough, i was worried the wind would only get worse". The smell of the sweet oil used to frie the delectable tenders caught my sense and I couldn't help but ask if I could have a 3 peice. She slid a tray with three tenders and some fries covered in what I can only describe as pollen for the soul over to me and handed me a cup big enough to fill a tub with and said " have a blessed day". When me and my friends left after the storm passed we knew it was a once in a lifetime experience.
