I’ve come to this establishment a multitude of times and for some reason their management is always horrible. The current ones BriAsia and Seth are the worst ones yet. BriAsia constantly drags down the mood and atmosphere. When ever I am in the cafe employees can not even talk to each other or costumers in a helpful manner without BriAsia marching in and ordering them to do something. It’s very uncomfortable to witness. One time I was speaking with an employee asking for their advice for food and she marched in barking at the employees to stop standing around despite them pouring smoothies or doing work. Then she proceeded to do nothing talking about “auntie tired” or something stupid. Seth is even worse he is so rude to customers and he doesn’t care. They push surveys to increase good reviews but don’t do it. This place needs to get shut down management can’t do their jobs and employees and costumers are suffering because of this.

Seth at the Hoover location was extremely rude to me. My smoothie wasn’t what I ordered and when I asked the guy taking orders could they remake my smoothie he told me to get the F on. For one I’m never coming back to this establishment, two if your company hired him then that says yall are birds of a feather that flock together being disrespectful, and thirdly when I asked for the guy name he told me to F off and get off the property when I asked for his name and Corporation number. I am extremely concerned with rather the employees at the Hoover location do foul and unsanitary to people foods when they complain but I am never coming back.

As a customer, I noticed a significant difference in the atmosphere depending on who was managing. Whenever BriAsia was working, I frequently observed employees being spoken to in a way that came across as disrespectful and belittling, sometimes in front of customers. It created an uncomfortable environment and made it seem like employees weren’t getting the training or support they needed.
One interaction in particular stood out to me. I was having a casual conversation with an employee when BriAsia approached them and asked, “What’s going on? Is everything okay?” The employee explained that everything was fine and that I was just showing them something quickly. Rather than allowing the conversation to naturally finish, BriAsia waited until it was cut short and then addressed the entire staff, saying, “Alright guys, let’s make sure we’re getting these orders in and out, no in-betweens.” At the time, I was one of only two customers in the entire establishment, so the comment came across as unnecessary and made the situation uncomfortable.
On the other hand, when I’d went in other times, and it was pretty much the same crew but BriAsia wasn’t there, the staff appeared much happier, worked well together, provided excellent customer service, and the atmosphere honestly just felt lighter. The employees clearly seemed capable and happy to do their job, but the atmosphere felt completely different depending on who was managing. I hope management takes these concerns SERIOUSLY, because employees deserve to feel respected and supported at work, and customers deserve to feel comfortable while they’re there! Hope this helps, honestly!
As a customer who has visited this store multiple times, I’ve noticed that the work itself doesn’t appear to be the biggest issue. What stands out more is the difference in atmosphere depending on who is managing the store.
The employees I’ve interacted with have consistently seemed friendly, welcoming, and hardworking. However, I’ve also witnessed situations where employees appeared to receive criticism for mistakes without being given much guidance or support beforehand. From what I personally observed, staff do not always seem to receive the level of preparation or direction necessary to perform confidently.
This can create an unfortunate cycle where employees are expected to meet standards that may not have been clearly communicated or properly taught, and then are criticized when something goes wrong.
I’ve also noticed that the atmosphere can become noticeably more tense when certain members of management are present. On several occasions, I’ve observed employees being spoken to in a way that seemed unnecessarily critical or dismissive. As a customer, it’s uncomfortable to watch employees who normally seem relaxed and friendly become visibly anxious.
Management has a major influence on the atmosphere of a store. Good leadership should involve communication, training, support, and setting a positive example—not simply pointing out mistakes after they happen.
I hope the store takes a closer look at how employees are being supported and managed. The staff I’ve encountered seem to work hard and treat customers well, and they deserve the same level of respect and support in return.
Extra:
- Food isn’t terrible but presentation needs more thought and smoothies can be super icy or smooth it’s never consistent.
- Floors can be messy.
- Lovely crew! Always welcoming when I or other customers come in.
- there seems to be an underlying odor? Can really put my finger on it but it’s like mildewy???

First and foremost, I’ve eaten at this location before and it’s usually hit or miss. However, my experience coming in tonight was stellar. I was greeted promptly by the young man at the register (I believe he had braids in). The young lady who made my smoothie made it so flavorful with no fruit or ice chunks. I emphasize this as it has been a turn off when I’ve dined here previously. She made it smooth and super delicious. The other young lady (I think her name starts with a B, I couldn’t get a good look at her name tag) brought my food out and was very kind as well. I let them know about my previous experiences at this location and they completely knocked it out of the park tonight. If the manager is seeing this, I came in at around 7:30/7:35pm on Tuesday to order my food. This group was very kind, accommodating, and super welcoming despite my short visit. It just goes to show that small gestures and having the right people can really make a difference.
