  Almost didn’t stop in here at the Jefferson’s in Hartselle, AL., due to eating once at a Jefferson’s in Decatur, AL.! We are glad we did try this one, as it was a really good experience! This goes to show you can’t judge one restaurant based on a bad experience at another establishment with the same company! We will be back to the Hartselle, AL. Jefferson’s again soon!

  Hubby and I tried Jefferson’s for the first time today. Service was stellar. Food was excellent. Hubs had shrimp with hush puppies as his side. Only complaint was that there were only a couple of small hush puppies on his plate but happy with shrimp quantity. I had Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Very good. Will definitely come back.

  Out of two beers and welll tequila to make the house marg on special and it was only Thursday. Wouldn't match house price of marg with upgraded tequila, even though it was their issue. Messed up husband's dinner order. Every apology by bartender was "My bad, boss" (Insert eyeroll here.) Kids trying to play manager and it's not working out well. Just seedy bar feed with matching atmosphere. My bad, boss. Just honest feedback.

  I went to a birthday party for my son and we had a fabulous waitress. Loved the atmosphere and couldn't believe how many TVs (though I will make one suggestion, please turn the closed captions on, at least, some of the TVs. It was too loud to hear what was going on on the TVs) Otherwise, it was truly an enjoyable evening. 👍🏻🤩

  We visited on a Tuesday evening when it was misty and sat outside. I got the shrimp basket with sweet potato fries and my husband got a Philly cheese without jalapeño. Both of our entrees came out in about 12 minutes and we exactly as ordered. My husband loved his sandwich and my shrimp and hush puppies were delicious. I have to add that the sweet potato fries were very good and were paired with a delicious cinnamon sauce for dipping! That was a hit with me. The server Tiana, was very sweet and attentive. Our glasses were never empty and any request was quickly answered. We are thrilled to have a new restaurant right over the bridge and it will become a new staple!
