Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- SRSugaR RusHMay 13, 20265.0I eat fast food a little bit less lately. After hearing about the burgers, I had to try Whataburger. Best thing about their burgers they are the equivalent of the size of the bun and they taste like beef. Fries are good and fresh. I also tried the new banana pudding shake. That was really good especially after eating a savory double cheeseburger with actual melted cheese. The price of the meal is worth it imo. The service was unexpectedly good. The staff including the manager took care and was attentive. Great service and food are hand in hand, and rare. I will say, I went in early in the afternoon so less customers. The restaurant and parking lot was super clean. A In and Out fan recommended Whataburger. I've never had In and Out but the person that did said Whataburger reminded him of that classic burger taste reminiscent of home.
