They were the worst donuts I have ever eaten. They were old and hard. Never again will I stopped at Krispy Kreme in Pensacola.

I drove 30 minutes because I received a coupon for “buy any dozen, get a dozen free.” As a first-time customer, I asked simple questions about what qualifies and what a “specialty dozen” includes. The employee helping me was polite, but she didn’t know the answers and had to ask a supervisor. The supervisor, however, seemed uninterested in helping and never clearly explained anything. I was told I couldn’t use the coupon with a specialty dozen, but no one would explain what actually makes a dozen “specialty.” When I asked for guidance, I was repeatedly told to “pick any dozen,” which isn’t helpful when you’re new and facing a large selection. I was trying to understand what qualifies for the deal and make an informed choice, not hold up the line. What made this experience frustrating wasn’t the policy—it was the lack of clear communication and customer service. A simple explanation or a little guidance would have made all the difference. Instead, I left feeling confused and unsupported after going out of my way to visit. I hope management can improve training and customer interaction, especially when it comes to explaining promotions and helping first-time customers.
