  After today I will no longer be coming back to the Dothan Toasted Yolk. The atmosphere was ridiculous sounded like a club. When we came in playing Nelly. It never stopped boom boom boom. Could hardly hear the waitress or the company you were with. The food took forever to come out. Once the food did come out it was good. They were out of certain food items we requested. Noticed their health inspection was an 82. After reading it I questioned if we should have ate there. If you like to leave the club and go for breakfast this is the place for you. Disappointing how its changed

  The toasted yolk has gone down hill. The ceiling tiles and ceiling speakers need to be fixed. I saw another post complaining about the ceiling tiles and they still haven't been fixed. Instead of fixing the original sounds system in the ceiling to play music, they have brought in a dj and are playing, club music so loud that you can't hear yourself think or talk to your table. I should have canceled the order. Unfortunately, my brain isn't functioning due to lack of coffee. Had to suffer through the music while waiting for the food to be made to go so we could get out of there. Believe it or not we were not the only ones to complain about the loud music.

  Me and my family went in for a nice quiet breakfast on a Saturday morning. Everything was okay until they had a DJ with a very LOUD sound system playing ghetto blasting music in the dining room! We almost walked out! Instead we opted to get our food to go. Needless to say, for the price I could have made just as good of breakfast on my stove for a third of the money. This place is hyped up more than it should and definitely over priced for Waffle house quality breakfast.

  5-Star Review Absolutely loved my experience at The Toasted Yolk! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Everything came out hot and delicious, and the atmosphere made the visit even better. Definitely a great spot for breakfast or brunch—I’ll happily come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Normally me and my boyfriend love this place. The staff is super friendly and the food is yummy, BUT today was different. Our server was Taylor. We were sat quickly but it took 15 mins before we were greeted. We ordered our drinks and an app. The app came and my drink was no where to be seen. As it was a bar drink I was trying to be patient as I know the bar can get backed up so I didn't mention it as she walked by. 15 mins later I stopped her (mind you she hadnt check in with us at all) and she asked if everything was good. I was a bit incredulous as I still had no bar drink my bfs drink was completely empty but all I said was "I still am waiting on my drink and he needs a refill", she said okay and came back with both FIVE MIN LATER (no straw and she gave me no chance to ask as she dropped it and sped walked away so i had to ask the hostess). No apologize, no explanation. Our food came out and it was okay. We asked for Ketchup when she checked in. I watched her go to like three other tables and get them various things then she came back by our table and asked if we needed anything I reminded her that he still needs Ketchup. Once again no apologize just an okay and she went and got it. 20 mins later we were ready to pay and she come by asking if i want another drink i say no but to i do need a box. She comes back with it. I box up my food and we are waiting on the check. She once again has disappeared so I asked to hostess to please go let her know we needed to pay. She came by and got the cash. Our change was like 11 cents. Normally we would tip cash when we get our receipt as we don't like leaving it on tables. But she never came back. I'm assuming she was just keeping the change which i get it's only 11 cents but it's the principle of it yk. The hostess brought our receipt and change. We try to be understanding guests as we typically eat faster than average table but it wasn't that busy. I get the stereotype that young people don't tip as much but maybe it experiences like this that cause that. I will say despite me bothering her the hostess was super sweet!
