  It had been a while since we moved to Florida, we met a friend from Dothan for lunch and was pleased to taste it's still GOOD!!!!

  I feel like this location has just gotten way too much wrong for too long now. Today was a last straw for me. I ordered ahead because I travel with dogs and children. The food should be ready, cooked properly, set on a shelf so I can walk in and grab it and go, and the staff shouldn’t be rude to me for asking for my order 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready because they are clearly upset I’m not getting in the long lunch line that I shouldn’t have to get in for a to go order. The other locations I’ve been to since at least 2016 don’t pull this crap and many other restaurants figured out how to handle to go orders as well. I stopped coming to this location because they were leaving ingredients off and making everything skimpy during COVID. I tried them again Saturday and today after years of only going to the Montgomery location and I’m just so tired of paying these insane prices to be treated like crap and not even have my food cooked all the way…just done. I hated having to leave this review as Saturday’s staff was excellent, the man bussing tables today was so nice to me, and I usually have a good experience as far as staff is concerned. The experience and the food, however, has left me wishing I’d chosen somewhere else to buy our meals today.

  A rude black lady answered the phone I had called and told her asked her if they could bring my food out to me which they usually do I'm disabled and anyways she had said yeah but I called and I called back and I said is there anyway I could get a glass of free water she said well we're not going to keep bringing your food out to you I understand you have a dog and I said I'm disabled she said well a lot of people are disabled and then she just got off the phone super rude I won't be back to this restaurant you need to train your people that lady had a mouth on her Terrible service!!! First time this location Absolutely delicious Fantastic service ADA compliant assisted me getting my pickup Order You guys Rock♥️

  I discovered Newk’s from a commercial and have been hooked ever since! The food is great, the staff is always friendly, and the place is clean and affordable in Dothan, AL. We usually go for the Trio. It’s a great way to enjoy a little bit of everything. I meet the manager, Shanequa, and expressed how impressed I am with the younger staff. For teenagers, they’re incredibly pleasant and helpful, which really stands out each time I visit. It’s not something you see often, and it’s one of the reasons I keep coming back. Hope you visit, to appreciate the great food and service.
