Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- BBBjtMay 12, 20261.0This restaurant is very poorly located I feel like this in itself hurts the business here the times I have visited this restaurant I have gotten average service the hamburgers are really greasy at least mine was and the dinning area could be cleaned better but I think the thing that hurts this restaurant the most is location in my opinion.

I hate to even complain but when I am paying $20+ for a meal and I can’t even get good food, that is absolutely ridiculous. The customer service in this store is beyond horrible and the way the employees cuss at one another is just disrespectful. I waited 15 minutes for 1 meal and didn’t even get an apology when I was handed my food. No mind was payed and the food was not even good. They have no desire to please any paying customers. It’s not worth my time, money, or effort to come to this whataburger anymore. I would rather drive to get the Texas experience than ever go to this Whataburger again.
