    It is a challenge witnessing dirty children go up to the buffet. They were hacking and weezing. Don't expect the other patrons to be mindful. In the hour we were there I was the only person I saw go to the fresh fruit. Food was plentiful and fresh.

    We got there at lunch time and had the buffet. Everything was full but it was all cold. Salad bar was full but didn't look fresh.

    So wished this brand would make a comeback! Scattered throughout the south by Franchisees now, they are hard to find. But...Clanton, AL has it going on!! Spot on Sinday buffet today! Service was great. Food was hot and plentiful!

    My server was all right. I feel like this shoney's in particular was very bleak and the food very Bland. I already have low expectations because it's a buffet but the only thing that was really edible was the salad bar. Most of what was on display was very dry.

    On our way home in TN from FL we stopped at this Shoneys for dinner. The food on the buffet was wonderful, very tasty like home cooked. We had a great server who checked on us often. If you're traveling on I-65 thru southern Alabama I highly recommend this Shoneys! Great food, great value and friendly people!
