  On 25 September 2026 I placed a mobile order using the Sonic App while sitting in the parking lot of Walmart which is approximately 1/2 mile away. Information on the app stated that the order was submitted at 6:58 PM and would be ready at 7:01 PM. Made my way to sonic, parking in mobile pickup spot #1 and checked in using the app as prompted and noticed the restaurant was not overly busy. I began to grow concerned once ten and then 15 minutes had passed. After waiting 28 minutes I moved to stall 3 and activated the red button where I inquired, ever so politely, if I would get my food that evening. After another brief wait a young lady came to my window with my food in sealed paper bags. I inquired if the food was fresh or had just been sitting there with her half answer of not knowing. She claimed to have several new staff members and a new manager when I asked about speaking with him/her. Decided against speaking with anyone further due to being angry. Submitted a complaint on the Sonic website with an automatic response ensuring me of my appreciation and that contact would be made with me within 48 business hours. It’s been over a week and still not a word. The store phone number rings the Sonic in Alexander City, Alabama. Oh…..did I mention that they shorted me an order of fries. Forgot that part. I’m not your typical Ken/Karen but for just shy of $70.00 you’d think fresh food would have be served, the whole order would have been delivered, or maybe the order wouldn’t have been forgotten about. I want a refund Sonic!

  I got mozzarella sticks, M&M blast and a reeses blast. She handed our blast to us and they was dripping all over, its like they just sat on the counter and melted during our 20 minute wait for our order. She said its like that because of the lid. The M&M one was so melted it was like milk you had to slurp it. She said would you like me to remake it. Yes please, so she took it back in. And brought it back out and said my GM said its coming out like that so im not remaking it. And quickly walked away. So was it the lid? Or it came out like that? Or because it sat out for 20 minutes and melted? Who knows. But I know I paid 6 bucks for liquid ice cream with candy. It was upsetting cause now I didn't have my 6 dollars and no delicious m&m blast. But now I know If I want milk with m&ms served with a bad attitude this is where I can find it. :)

  I have never had any problems when we've ate at Sonic. Today we did. I ordered the sonic burger with no cheese or pickles. It was ok. I've had better. The tater tots were awful. I ate about 4 and couldnt eat another one. They were fried hard. And had enough salt to kill a mummy. When my husband said to much salt then you know they had to much. My husband ordered the ft long money. The chili on it had been over cooked. Or sat in the pot to long. The girl that brought our food out was really nice.

  Good fast food, good service. The restaurant needs some updating though as it is showing it's age.

  This is the absolute shittiest service I have ever gotten in my life. I ordered a drink a strawberry limeade got charged three dollars and something for it and it was awful. I mashed the button to tell them and a girl screams out through the door. We’re closed and turns off the button and this is what you have running your restaurant. This is got awful and wonder why your business is going downhill.
