  If you want BWW, skip Athens and head on over to Madison instead. My children and I visited the Athens location yesterday (Mother's Day). I should have known this place would be a problem based on their empty parking lot on a Sunday afternoon. Everything started off fine (drinks received, orders taken in a timely manner) but the food seemed pretty slow to come out considering the place was nearly empty. Once the food did arrive, our server disappeared into a back corner of the restaurant, where it appeared the employees were having some sort of celebration (there were balloons 🤷‍♀️). On 2 occasions I had to stare down that corner of the room before the server finally made her way back to us. The second time, I was standing up next to the table for several minutes before she made her way over. I asked to speak to a manager. I explained to the manager that I had planned to place an order to take home for my husband, but changed my mind because I was tired of sitting there being ignored. She honestly seemed like she could care less. As soon as the manager walked away our server was right there to put down the check, get my money and have us out the door.

  Stopped by this afternoon to get some early supper. Wasn’t too busy. It was pretty clean and quiet for a sports bar. My waitress was Sarah and she was amazing. Very talkative and funny. My food was taking a while to get done, so she brought me some fries so i wouldn’t “starve” 😂. Very sweet girl. Quick too! Patty melt was really good! And the best potato wedges i’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back to this location.

  Lunchtime on Sunday, the restaurant was only about 1/3 full and I still stood at the kiosk with my whole family waiting for a table for 20 minutes, never talked to anyone. The servers were fiddling around and cleaning tables and wouldnt make eye contact. A family left while we were waiting and told us the service was terrible too. We finally just left. This location is not a BWW, it's a bar that happens to serve chicken. If you aren't going for the booze, don't bother. they certainly won't.

  Great experience as always! We bring our family here weekly. Most recently we had Morgan. She was awesome! Our service was exceptional and the wings were amazing. Definitely continue our weekly tradition coming back as long as baseball will allow...
