There's been more misses than hits for me since it opened up. I think I have had 6 or 7 drinks there. If I wanted inconsistent coffee, I'd go down the road and get Dunkin for $2-3 cheaper. And I'm just talking about ordering their most popular drinks (Caramelizer / Golden Eagle), something they should know how to make with ease. I haven't even tried to get fancy with the customized drinks yet. Service has been wonderful (not my cup of tea, but I appreciate the effort). One thing to note - the app ordering is disabled for now probably because it's a grand opening and they don't want to get hit with customizations, but I wish I could do it nonetheless. Lastly, whoever designed this location should have thought about long lines because there's been cars out into the roads and long waits. Usually when that happens, we just drive past it instead of pulling in. Obviously if the coffee were 5 stars, then I'd wait it out, but the juice isn't worth the squeeze (or the bean isn't worth the brew in this case). I'll try again in a few months and update my review if it changes. For now, back to 7brew and the occasional inconsistent Dunkin.

Fantastic as always! Love that it has finally come to the Bham area! I grew up on Dutch Bros in Northern CA and have been anticipating this! We drove from Trussville this morning just for the Dutch love experience! I hope they open a spot in Trussville as its one of the fastest growing cities in Alabama. Move over 7Brew!

WHY WOULD YOU PLAYING RAP MUSIC WITH PROFANITY AND TALKING ABOUT SEX?!?? It’s 8 AM on Saturday for heaven’s sake. First time customer here. Slow drive thru line and staff looks a little to comfortable in their attire. Work on family friendly music and tell your staff to show up to work dressed a little more professional and for a new business in the area, know your surroundings and customer base.

I’m originally from Colorado, so I know exactly what the 'Dutch Luv' and hygiene standards are supposed to be. This Alabaster location is an absolute embarrassment to the brand. The staff looked unkempt, lacked basic hygiene, and were more focused on horseplay than following sanitary protocols while handling drinks. Here are all the violations that occurred during my visit today 1. Food Safety & Sanitation Violations Failure to Maintain Personal Hygiene: Employees appearing unkempt and unhygienic in a food preparation area is a violation of the Alabama Food Code. Failure to Follow Hand-Washing Protocols: You witnessed staff handling items and horseplaying without following the required hand-washing frequency mandated for retail food service. Inadequate Management Oversight: On an opening day, a lack of supervision that allows for "horseplay" instead of sanitation is a failure of Active Managerial Control. 2. Professional Conduct & HR Violations Solicitation of a Customer: Using company time and supplies (the napkin) to solicit personal/business contact information from a customer is a major breach of standard Corporate Employee Conduct policies. Misuse of Company Property: Handing out napkins specifically for a personal networking/flirting agenda is a "misuse of company resources." Negligent Service/Inattentiveness: By focusing exclusively on your husband, she failed to perform her job duties for the other paying customer in the vehicle (you), which is a violation of Operational Standards. 3. Ethical & Brand Violations Exclusionary Service (Bias): Pointedly ignoring one customer (the wife) while engaging with another (the husband) violates the "Dutch Luv" brand promise of inclusivity and friendly service. Unprofessional Boundaries: Pressuring a customer for a website and contact info while their spouse is present is considered harassment-adjacent behavior in many corporate handbooks because it creates an uncomfortable and hostile environment for the customer. Failure to Meet Brand Standards: As you noted, the deviation from the Colorado gold standard shows a failure in local training and brand consistency. The lack of professionalism was appalling. An employee (Asian female) spent the entire transaction flirting with my husband while I was sitting right there. She was so bold that she actually handed him a company napkin to write down his personal info and website. She directed 100% of her attention and smiles to him, pointedly ignoring my existence and only wishing 'him' a good day at the end as if I were invisible. To be treated with such disrespect in my own car while an employee solicits my husband's information is a disgrace. This isn’t 'friendly' service—it’s biased, unprofessional, and a total liability to the company. If you’re used to the high standards of Colorado or the West, skip this location until they hire adults who understand basic respect and hand-washing.

Wish they would have advertised the grand opening better earlier in the week and sent notifications to rewards members especially with the bad weather Forcasted on grand opening day! And with gas prices some people are only up near the location before or at opening time to be able to try the new location! Hopefully they will have more promotions for drinks during grand opening week!
