I hate leaving negative reviews, but I also believe honest feedback helps businesses improve. I’ve attached two photos: the first is the advertised mozzarella bread, and the second is what I actually received. Unfortunately, the difference was pretty significant. The bread I received looked like plain bread with melted mozzarella on top. It wasn’t browned or crispy like the menu photo, wasn’t seasoned, and overall tasted very bland. I was hoping the meat sauce would add some flavor, but instead it honestly tasted like SpaghettiOs sauce. For almost $17 after tax, I expected something much closer to what was advertised and a much better quality product. The customer service also left me disappointed. When I walked in, I stood directly at the front counter, right across from the employee, waiting to be helped, but she was completely focused on her phone and didn’t acknowledge me for quite a while. I actually stood there to see how long it would take before she noticed me, and she eventually looked up, jumped, and said I had scared her because she hadn’t realized anyone had come in. I understand everyone has moments, and I’m sure she’s a kind person, but being on a phone while a customer is standing directly in front of you waiting to be helped comes across as unprofessional. As someone who has worked in customer service, I know how important it is to acknowledge customers as soon as they walk through the door, even if it’s just a quick, “I’ll be right with you.” I genuinely hope this feedback is taken constructively because I wanted to support a local business, but based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this restaurant. I hope these are things that can be improved for future customers.
