  Under staffed so lobby was closed. They were out of a ton of flavors. The onion rings are dreadful and taste like they are battered in vanilla cake batter why would I want a sweet vanill batter on an onion ring. 🤮 The staff was very polite and helpful and did a great job with what they had.

  Zero organization, bunch of kids working that don’t have any system down whatsoever. Tried going through the drive through. I wish I’d seen the 2 star reviews before going through the drive through. basically had to go through the drive through without ordering. Kid told me I had to go around a second time. Tried telling them I sat in front of the ordering menu screen but appeared to be broken and didn’t hear anything. Avoid Sonic here if you can. Complete waste of time. And it was a long line

  This sonic in particular is not great. The food is overcooked or it is cold when you get it. The milkshakes have very little in them. The ice cream deserts have been very disappointing. I won't be returning here.

  Last time i went i pulled up, hit the button to order, waited a while to get a response, and after being prompted to order I gave it to him and then he just…hung up. No response, no prompt to pay, no order was taken. It took him a goos while to answer the first time and i really wasnt willing to wait again so i just left. I Wasnt rude to him, wasnt snippy or anything, just ordered like how anyone would and he just hung up on me. So that was real a real fun experience…

  I am from Oklahoma where Sonic Drive-in is not only a time honored tradition but an institution. So imagine my excitement when, after living here for 7 months, I learned that there was a Sonic in Anchorage! I pulled into a stall excited for cheese tots and a Smashburger. I love sitting in the drive-in, eating my tots and listening to a podcasr. I pressed the iconic red button. "I'm sorry. Out stalls are closed. Could you please use the drive through?" I was a bit disappointed that I wouldn't be able to interact with (and TIP!!) s car hop. But okay. I will go through the drive-through. I can still park in a stall, right? I pulled up to the drive through menu board. Nothing. Waiting. Nothing. "Hello? I am in the drive through." "Can you give me just a moment?" Waiting. Finally, they came back amd asked for my order. "We are out of the Smash burger patties." What? How can you be out of burgers? Not only was it dead at this location, but the staff seemed disinterested and rude. They are definitely besmirking the Sonic brand. If this is a franchise, Corporate should seriously consider revoking their license.
