Was a huge disappointment. Wish I had gone elsewhere for this one time splurge.........server seemed less than focused- waited nearly 30 minutes for my check

It’s been around for a very long time, and it always delivers the best of food and service. 30 years ago, we had our wedding reception there, and we always choose Simon & Seafort’s for a celebration. Today, we had my birthday dinner there, and it was outstanding: delicious and beautiful! My favorite was the crab and shrimp fettuccine, and my husband loved the surf and turf dinner. The ocean view, the atmosphere, and the excellent service contributed to the celebration.

Their Alaskan Golden King Crab Legs and King Salmon dishes were incredibly delicious. Our server was prompt and attentive without being intrusive; his suggestion for the wine pairing was spot on. A wonderful place for top-notch seafood!
- STSarah TebbitsAug 21, 20263.0Ordered the surf n turf, seafood trio, and oysters. The steak was chewy, shrimp rubbery, salmon dry, and the mashed potatoes had too much potato skin. To top it off, we had to heavily salt everything and the sides were cold with burnt edges. The oysters were clean and good though. It took 20 minutes to just get our water, another 15 to take our order. I think the resturant has too many tables for fancy dining. Quality and quantity did not match the price.

Where it went wrong was I order the side dish of three scallops and she brought me two and said that one was bigger so it counts as three . My receipt said three scallops for $15. And I only was given two. Plus my husband ordered a salad with chicken. He had difficulty eating the chicken because it was so dry. They did credit us for the chicken. I would not recommend this restaurant.
