This place was highly recommended by a local. Just okay at best, unfortunately. The Copper River salmon was very good, but everything else on the plate was terrible. The couscous had NO flavor, and the vegetables were tough and cold. Such a disappointment they would get only the fish right. The meal was ruined.

This place is easy to get to and the view of the water is very nice if you can get the right table. The staff is dressed very professional and the service is great. The ambiance does not match the look of the staff. I wore a suit jacket and slacks and my wife wore a nice dress. Many patrons were in t-shirts. Not sure if that is the norm, but it was not what I expected. I will dress down the next time I am in town. We both ordered the grilled seafood trio. That was shrimp, sockeye salmon, and scallops. The salmon was a little dry but flavorful. The shrimp and scallops were grilled perfectly. I would not order that again only because of the salmon. I will go to this place again. The staff is great and the service is great. The patrons we spoke with were super friendly. I forgot about the crab and artichoke dip. That was phenomenal. It came with some slices of crusty bread. I would eat that again and again.

I was really looking forward to this meal
unfortunately I was disappointed had the baked halibut stuffed with crab, which is one of their signature dishes, and it was very dry and not flaky, which led me to believe they had a pan probably just sitting in the kitchen with multiple other halibut stuffed it with crab crabs just waiting for them to be ordered and it wasn’t warm when it came out. It was very hard to find any crab in the stuffing. It was mostly spinach.
Also had the crab and artichoke dip which it had way too much onion and a big chunks of onion and hard to find the crab once again
The bread was really good though

I promise I have never cared enough to write a Yelp or Google review in my life — this is the singular exception. I went to dinner with a friend last night, and waited an hour for a table. I totally respect this, and they were clearly busy. I started getting irritated when our table was ready but nobody would help us pay the bar tab so we could actually move to the dining room. Servers were swarming around the bar but we could not get anyone’s attention with raising our hands/waving or tapping them on the shoulder or asking for assistance, etc. When we did get the bill finally, we were waiting another 20 minutes for someone to actually run the card before we could leave for the dining room. The kicker is that I got to the bar a few minutes after my friend, and never got to order a drink in that hour because the servers were so busy!
Once we got to the dining room, it ended up being another 30 minutes until our server could come over, and 20 more until we got bread, even longer until the drink I finally got to order appeared. Then, ages later finally got to order food. The food and my cocktail were absolutely delicious and I imagine everything else on the menu is great. The service workers are obviously so overwhelmed and this restaurant clearly needs more help to run at full capacity in the summer. Then, same thing as in the bar, waited ages for the check but couldn’t leave because there weren’t any pens around to sign. All in all, got there at 6:30 sharp and weren’t done until 9:15, with only about 30 minutes of that having food and a drink in front of me. I definitely would not come here again in the summer.

Only 2 of the 5 in our party felt like it was an ok experience, the other 3 were very unhappy. We had been recommended this place by so many people, possibly too over hyped for its own good. First off we showed up for our 2pm reservation on a friday, we waited to be seated for around 15-20 minutes, even though we were the only people waiting, and there were only around 6 tables already sat. Then the service and wait time for food took forever. We even had to ask the server if we could go ahead and order our food, because we'd already been waiting awhile. When the entrees came, there were two cajun pastas, which the server then took back because they were missing a topping. Then those cajun pastas ended up being insanely spicy, to the point of barely being edible. The two who ordered that dish don't normally do a lot of spice, so the rest of us who like really spicy food tried it, and all of us expressed it was far too spicy. I'm from the south and cajun is never "bring you to tears hot" unless they distinctly tell you its very spicy. One of the party does ghost pepper challenges, and he said the spice was on par with intentionally over the top spicy peppers. I also love reindeer sausage and the reindeer sausage on this dish was very rubbery. Final issue is the server also ended up trying to rush us to pay saying "I need to head to my other job" as if her and the kitchen hadn't been why this turned into an approximately 3 hour experience. Now as a positive, I did like my pan seared salmon and prickly pear cocktail a lot. However, I think with how slow the service was, I wouldn't find it worth the wait to come back here
