Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
This location is garbage, i have now downgraded from a 5 star to 4 then a 3 was a 2 and now a 1 star, biscuits are doughy and not fully cooked and took about 15 minutes sitting at the drive through ordering area before i ordered, I'm not talking about in line i mean at the ordering speaker sat for 15 minutes, took about 40 minutes total to receive food that wasn't correct. And was over priced. 19 bucks for a taquito a biscuit and gravy with a combo is ridiculously expensive. I love whataburger but this location is useless and so are the owners who have allowed this location to slide into bad food, bad attitudes and bad service. I do not recommend you eat here.

I have no complaints. It is the experience you would expect from any Whataburger. The food tasted as expected. The staff is great.

Grilled chicken just served on time, I thought the hibiscus strawberry drink was at display but I didn’t see it.

Ordered a mobile app order to pick up in the drive through for myself, my husband, and my son. Caught in the drive through that they forgot the 3 additional sauces (that we paid extra for) not a big deal, they gave them to us after showing receipt. Got home to realize one of the burgers was completely wrong, fries were old, and onion rings were heavily overcooked-decided to go back and have it fixed. The guy at the counter apologized and had it remade after i explained to him EXACTLY what was wrong with the burger-which he relayed to someone in the back. I was handed a bag of the supposedly fixed food but based on the 15 minute drive back, I decided I better check it in the car, wrong again. The fries and onion rings were great but now the burger had mustard which I happen to be mildly allergic to mustard seed, of course. Take it back in and the guy who initially helped me calls for "Isaac" in the back. I point out to "Isaac" on the receipt that it isn't supposed to have mustard and ask why it does. Isaac says "I don't know, I didn't make it." Okay, fair. Has the burger fixed and brings it back. I jump in the car and decide based on previous experiences, I should probably check this burger. AND NOW WE ARE MISSING TOPPINGS. At this point I'm just trying to prove a point, call me "Petty LaBelle"-I could care less. So I walk back in with my still incorrect (4th attempt) burger after driving the 15 minutes back and waiting for 20 minutes total. Immediately "Isaac" is called back. I tell him about the now missing toppings and ask for it in a ramequin (because I have seen the movie Waiting.) He returns, no apology and I clarify that this is the FOURTH time in one visit the burger has been wrong. He raises his tone and and his hands in the air and says "I didn't make it" as he turns and walks away. Okay, cool..but you oversee the person in back who does?
This isn't my first negative experience at this location which is why I chose to share it. Usually I just sit at home and eat my chicken strips without sauce (that I order and paid for), reheat my undercooked fries in the airfryer, and pick the tomatos off my salad that weren't supposed to be there in the first place. But today Wylie Whataburger and Isaac are getting called out because I had a long day and I just wanted a half decent burger the way I ordered it and some fresh onion rings that didn't taste like charcoal..and to not have to make 2 visits and wait 40 minutes for it.
