Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CSCha Cha SuttonApr 12, 20261.0Went through the drive thru late night /early morning in the rain on 4/12/26 and ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwich meals only to arrive home to find that the fries were stale and cold and the green leaf lettuce on the sandwiches were wilted and old. Called to make a complaint and the original manager stated she would replace the entire order but that she needed to speak to another manager. After waiting on hold for some time another manager comes to the phone being rude and argumentative stating the lettuce was perfectly fine, fresh and green. I should have known from the beginning when the person that took the order initially repeated the order back wrong. How hard is it to make spicy chicken sandwich meals with no mayo add mustard and bacon to one order and on the second one mustard no mayo add bacon and onions.

I’ve been very pleased and impressed with the level of great customer service “Kayla” has provided in recent visits, for such a young lady she seems very mature, kind, and takes care of business! She is definitely part of the reason why I will keep returning to this location , along with the crew at different times that are putting out great food!! I appreciate it, thank you!!
