Steam everywhere. Bags flying. Line moving fast. People smiling. Meanwhile these two are cool as can be like they’ve been training for crawfish season their whole lives. Food was hot, fresh, and seasoned so good I almost got back in line pretending it was my first time. H-E-B — take notes. If every store had a Xavier and Mae, the world would be a better place. 10/10. Absolute legends.

It really fits the small-town vibe and has that friendly, welcoming feel you hope for when you’re visiting a place like Wimberley. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop in. The reason I’m giving three stars instead of five is because of what I’m assuming was a manager named Angelica. Before checking out, she kind of gave off an attitude that didn’t match the otherwise friendly atmosphere of the store. It just slightly changed the experience for me. I really loved this HEB and will definitely visit again!
