Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Don’t expect for your food to A) be quick B) be they way you ordered it C) friendly service. Plan on spending at LEAST 30-45 minutes waiting on your food, and make sure to check it before you leave. Don’t do like us and spend $45.00 and get home with things that aren’t what you ordered and things you can’t eat. If you really want Whataburger, do yourself a favor and drive to Burk. They actually make sure you get what you ordered.

Order through the drive thru. Chicken fajita meal and a Jr double whataburger with monteray jack cheese subed for the american. Chicken in fajita was over cooked, so much that I couldn't bite through it. I had to tear it like jerkey. The monteray cheese I paid for was not used, instead they just added American cheese. So much for "just how you like it".
