Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
While many customers praised the friendly and helpful staff, there were numerous complaints about slow service, particularly during peak hours, and issues with order accuracy.

Tasted better than the expensive BBQ dinner we had a few hours after stopping here. Glad I ate at whatsburger beforehand.

Went and got dinner for my family, got our order about 20 min late. Realized we didnt get the Cobb salad that I payed 10$ for. So I go back in and hand my receipt to a worker, stating I never received my salad with my order, I assume she went to tell the insiders to get it started. No, she started to clean the fyrers instead. A lovely woman named Christina helped me out, she got my order started and some fresh chicken even, and for the long wait she gave me a chocolate shake. I am really not one to leave reviews, but Christina needs a pay raise and some better crew workers. Because yall were messing up everyone's order.
