Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported long wait times for food, often exceeding 30 minutes, even with mobile orders.

This is perhaps the third or fourth time I’ve received strips from this location that are under 3 inches each. If there were more options in White Oak for late nights I would never come here.

Typical Whataburger, good food that takes a bit longer to make than McDonald's. Just don't order a lot at once.

It was about 10:30 after a football game so I figured it would be busy but I didn't think I would have to wait thirty minutes for a chicken sandwich. The lady proceeded to walk out all orders behind me in line without telling me anything about my order. By the time I got my food it was 11 pm and the burger and fries that went with the chicken sandwich were cold and soggy. Had she maybe told me when ordering it would be awhile or even opened the window to tell me something I wouldn't have been so upset. I was very unhappy and won't come back.

Using the mobile app to get ahead of time, food said it’d be done at 8:45 I’m currently still waiting on my food and it’s 9:23. Tried calling them asking when the food would be ready and they said they’re wait on “fries”. Don’t come here if you have literally anything to do.
