This place never upsets me.. from the appetizers to the entrees and the drinks... appetizers- deviled eggs with brisket on top are my go to, and then the pork belly bites are awesome . Can't confront with the bbq nachos either..
Entree- I've had the smothered chops, which are awesome, the fried catfish, incredible, but the smoked chicken n sausage gumbo was phenomenal 👌. Loved it and its a very nice portion bowl. This place does not let me down . The meats are also to die for .

We went there on January 1st, 2026. We had a reservation at 6:45pm, but had to wait 35 minutes for a table. Once there we ordered water and appetizers. They took quite some time to serve the water and after around 15 minutes they came back and said they did not have any more belly bites so we had to change our appetizers. We then ordered and after 20 minutes they came back and said they did not have any more pork belly so we had to reorder, as a result we ended up having dinner at around 8:10pm. In addition they got our orders wrong (the sides), and some of the sides arrived when we were already done eating. I understand we were a party of 8 but everything felt so disorganized and slow. We have been there multiple times before and this is the first time this happens. Service was not good at all, but I have to say that the food was AMAZING.

We went New Years Eve around 8:00pm.. there was a 45 minute wait for a table but they offered we could sit at the bar with no wait, so that's what we did, didn't want to stand around with the 20or so other folks waiting for a table... We were glad to be seated at the bar, lots of TV screens, very friendly servers that were very busy. We both had cheeseburgers and they come w/ fries. The fries were some of the thickest square cut fries I've ever had, they were lukewarm but edible, great potato flavor, just not very hot. The burger was massive, the menu didn't say it was 2 huge patties, comes w American cheese. Great fresh bun, standard fixings on bottom , under the patties, the meat is awesome, some of the best burger meat ever. They don't ask how you would like it cooked but they came out perfect, we don't like undercooked patties that some people like.. the bartender ladies were friendly and very busy, they were closing at 9 so they became more and more focused on closing duties rather than refills, not the end of the world. We were glad to get in somewhere decent on NY Eve...

Husband and I went for brunch on a Saturday morning! Only one mimosa for me! It was great! My husband ordered the brisket Benedict and I ordered the traditional, bacon, eggs and "hasbrowns" which were fried potatoes. It all came sprinkled with green onions, which i do not like. Before ordering I asked the waiter if it was parsley or onions and explained that neither my husband nor I like onions. He said he was sure it was parsley. (Side eye) We just picked the onions off but had them remake the potatoes with no onions or any peppers! The brisket Benedict must have been good because my husband ate it all and he's very particular and picky about his food! I love the jazz/blues environment and all the history on the walls! We will definitely visit again!

Out of the many time that I have came to delta blues I never had a bad experience. This night however was by far the worst service that I have possibly received at a restaurant. To start I put in a reservation at 2pm for 6pm that night and it was confirmed. In the reservation I stated that we would need a high chair/ sling since we would be with my brother who has baby still in the car seat. I get to the restaurant and tell the hostess that my party is here and we need some where that will accommodate a sling. They bring us to the table, and again we ask for a sling. We then get told that they can’t put a sling where we were at because of a fire hazard. Then they tried to set a table for the four adults at a small four seater table with a sling off to the side. Mind you we already had some appetizers and drinks at the other table already because we were told we could have a sling set up at the side. Then that table they were setting up gets people sat at it. And we were told if we wanted a different table we would have to go back to waiting area and be at the end of the wait list even though we had a reservation. Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon because the front end staff and management don’t know how to run restaurant at all. The manager only offered a fake apology because at the point we weren’t going to get up and wait again. The waitress at the end of the night came to the table and said let me make some adjustments to the bill and then didn’t make any adjustments as everything we ordered was still on the bill.
