  First time visit. We came in after visiting with before heading back to the north side. Diamond was our server and she was a gem. Genuine recommendations for every course, personable, always had a smile when she approached our table. The manager on duty (I’m sorry his name escapes me. Plaid button down, glasses, dark hair) checked on us after our meal asking how we enjoyed everything, and treated us to a dessert on him. 10/10 recommend. Get the belly bites!

  I will say up front most of the problems might have been our server. But it’s obvious they have cut quality since the last time I ate there. We ordered food for the kids as soon as we sat down, however it did not come out until the adult meals arrived. Bummer. Three of five plates were not as ordered.. And do not order the chicken fried chicken, it’s basically two little pieces of frozen chicken they microwaved.. “Tim’s fried chicken”looked good. Pulled pork sandwich was huge and good. Brisket was solid, a bit dry.. This meal did not live up to the hype or usual Pappas standards.

  My friend and I came in the other day to try out Delta Blues for the first time. Our plan was to grab a drink and appetizer at the bar then grab a table. We decided to stay and enjoy our dinner at the bar with Pearl! She provided us with amazing service. We told her it was our first time so she gave us a menu tour and gave us recommendations from each section. She answered every question we had about the cocktail menu as well as the food. She told us that she was new to bartending, but if she didn’t tell us that, we never would have known! The food and drinks were phenomenal but Pearl really made our experience memorable. If I didn’t live so far away I would definitely become one of her regulars. 10/10!

  I hate to say this because the food wasn’t even bad for it being my first time. I also got seated quickly, but when dining in here i had a hostess serve me while crying, which i find very disturbing as well as unprofessional I asked her if she was okay and I tried talking to a manager because im sure I wasn’t the only one who enjoyed seeing that. Whenever I walked out she waved goodbye while still crying. I have heard great things about this place and expected better.

  We usually like going to Delta but tonight was a big disappointment. I asked for a house cabernet, they charged me $21!!! I didn't know this until the bill came. I asked the waitress about it and she just shrugged it off. That really pissed me off when she shrugged me off. I would have never ordered $21 wine when it was just "house". I ordered a Cadillac potato with pulled pork, I got a LOT of skin which is a first for me and very little meat vs. usual. My husband asked for extra marshmallow but that never happened. My husband asked for milk and she lazily brought him 2 milk cartons to pour himself. This was very low service when he had to pour the milk like he was in kindergarten. My husband had this waitress before and was disappointed. He asked me not to leave a tip but I left something. Not good Pappas! A swing and a miss.
