  They are small. So expect a little wait for the food. But boy the food was good! I had the spicy fish fillet with the garlic Mac which was suppose to be Mama's Mac but still delicious. Cornbread and collard greens. All excellent.

  I ordered this for delivery it was 30 minutes away and it still tasted like it was hot and fresh. I felt transported to my southern roots and I loved it. It definitely was worth the wait.

  I had smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes, Mac and Cheese and fried bread. My son has the chicken and waffles. Every single bite was delicious. EAT HERE. The service was also fantastic.

  We had an excellent meal from Ida Mae’s. Every item tasted like it came straight from a home kitchen with care and attention to flavor. The fried pork chops were the standout. Crisp outside, tender inside, and seasoned just right. The baked chicken was just as strong, with rich flavor and a perfect texture. The collard greens had deep, savory taste, and the blackeyed peas were well balanced and satisfying. The candied yams were sweet without being overpowering, and the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, exactly what you want from a classic side. Portions were generous, and the meal felt worth every dollar. This is the kind of place you return to when you want real Southern cooking done right. Highly recommend.
