Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

It took 2 years before I could step into any wataburger. Until a viral video of a highschool student challenged by others to eat a 4 meat burger. My son told me beat that dad for me . Now as of today I'm at 7 patties+7 slices cheese, bacon,chopped onions sauteed onions, avocado, lettuce,pickles,mushrooms,bell peppers and jalapenos, large Dp shake,large fry . And I may get a second look and ask was order for real and everyone happily makes my order and is spot on every time . This is Texas hospitality and service ...above and beyond great

They helped every car in The other lane, looked at me when I pulled forward to ask for help, and they walked away from my vehicle. I pulled up to the window and waited for someone to help. Everyone just kept walking by. I ended up just driving away. Was so bummed about this experience.
