One of the workers (Kristi) even let us try there seasonal item "brisket chilli dipper".Super nice people here 🙌🏼 The manager was super nice. They continued to ask us "how are we, and how isthe food." People have no idea how much it means to have good customer service! If you shop HEB be sure to stop by and get some BBQ for lunch or dinner. 😊😁

She explained the menu, offered to use a coupon for us, and kept refilling our drinks throughout (it's not a sit down restaurant with waiters/waitresses, so this was above and beyond)! The food was so good! The creamed corn, ribs, cornbread, and pulled pork were our favorite! Also it was SO FAST! Definitely will come back again!

I even asked was my order wrong. I thought they gave a quarter rib which is what i usually get. According to the staff, their standard portion is 6 ribs for a half rack. Based on the portion i was served, it looked more like a quarter rack portion. The ribs were trimmed so small they looked like mini babyback ribs. Most restaurants typically serve 6-8 ribs for a half rack based on size and cut of the ribs. However, my last couple of visits to True BBQ left me feeling over charged and under seved.

Got to the window to get my food and asked about the dessert. The lady acted like she had never heard of this coupon, even with the huge sticker advertising it right on the window where I was picking up the order. She had to ask someone else about the promotion. Then said “sorry” you had to scan the coupon and didn’t give me the dessert. Food was great!! Customer service sucked!
