I don’t know what is going on lately but the quality and freshness of the fruits and vegetables has diminished drastically. Quite disappointing the last month. No photos unfortunately we just tossed it.

My daughter ordered groceries for pickup from this HEB in Waxahachie, and both packages of ground meat dated 3/2/2026 looked really off—red on top but brown throughout the rest of the meat. I’ve never seen raw meat look like it was already cooked. It was very concerning. On top of that, they didn’t even put the oranges and apples in a produce bag. All the fruit was just tossed together in a regular HEB plastic bag. Who does that? This location has really gone downhill lately. We’ll be sticking with the HEB in Mansfield from now on.

I come from a big city in Texas where there is HEB on every corner. And every HEB is huge! I moved to Waxahachie and was stunned at how small their HEB is. And the parking lot is definitely a problem, especially on the weekends. But I will say this, despite being small I always find everything I need.

They used to have more variety of brands. I'll try the HEB brand sometimes but systematically pushing out other brands is not acceptable. Last 4 times I visited, I noticed they hardly ever stock up on the Silk unsweet soymilk, but they always have their own on display. Most employees are helpful and courteous. Otherwise, I do like the bakery isle, produce, and the health food section.
